Master Artist Louisa Chase personally selects the Associate Artists who will participate in her residency. Seven were selected. Collaboration between the other disciplines present: composer Wadada Leo Smith and choreographer Jawole Zollar.

Master Artist Brice Marden personally selects the Associate Artists who will participate in his residency. Seven were selected. Each associate worked on their own body of work while Brice provided critique and commentary.
